Coral Publications was founded in 2008 by Tim Wijgerde, molecular biologist and popular science writer, with the aim of creating a company focused on science outreach.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between science and society, and to stimulate awareness for our fragile planet and its ecosystems. This goal is achieved by publishing popular scientific articles and websites, readable to a broad audience.
